I am the producer of a new kind of experience. I believe in the power of live “non-fiction” theater to share insights and, most importantly, help people understand why they so often feel that their lives are out of balance.
I often say the best bloggers are the best readers – you need to consume mass amounts of information to understand and write with authority. But with unlimited content at our fingertips, it’s easy to get so overloaded with junk information that you never stop to create your own content. I’ve recently been teaching a series of blogging workshops and juggling a heavy travel and work load, so I thought I would write a series of blog posts outlining a few of my strategies to manage content consumption vs. content creation. Tip No. 1) Start the day creating content, not consuming it.
Lately I have been thinking about how we create and consume biographies. I have to admit that biographies are my favorite literary form and, even though I write and enjoy fiction, there is something compellingly real about a well turned biography.
