As of this month, our global reach at The Eden Alternative has officially extended to 6 out of 7 continents! On September 4th, Dr. Bill Thomas added South America to the list when he landed in Bogotá, Colombia as keynote speaker of the annual conference for Fundación Saldarriaga Concha.
The week before, Carol Ende, EA’s Leader of Transformation and Growth, facilitated the very first Certified Eden Associate Training in China, turning out 10 new Certified Eden Associates and five new Eden Educators. After many years with The Eden Alternative, this was Carol’s first time working with an interpreter, making it a new and interesting educational experience for all involved. The training was hosted by Shanghai Starcastle Senior Living Services Ltd. (Starcastle pronounced in Mandarin Chinese, “Xing Bao”), a newly created joint venture company formed to develop and operate senior living communities in China. We are looking forward to seeing the exciting developments ahead for Starcastle, as they embark on their culture change journey. To learn more about their vision, click here.
