The modern American media-sphere bristles with anti-aging diet advice. Most all of it is wrong and far too much is actually dangerous/foolish. This is the best advice I have ever seen make this simple point:
…the whole notion of understanding food by its constituent parts – fat, protein and carbohydrates or even saturated fats, unsaturated fats, and trans fats – is plain wrong. (Simple food guru Michael) Pollan opens In Defense of Food with three dictums for healthful eating: “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”
This has been good advice for about 30,000 years.
It will be good advice 30,000 years from now. It’s the ANTI-FAD diet!
