Eden is in da house!
We finished the first ever Eden training (Eden At Home with a bit of Eden Alternative thrown in) for the entire staff at the Tsao Foundation / Hua Mei Centre for Successful Aging–53 people in all! It will be exciting to see how the Eden philosophy can be introduced into the Singaporean home care system.
At midday, PR guru Jenny took me through a monsoon rain to the 938Live broadcast station (Singapore’s major radio station) To do a live interview show, “The Living Room”, with producer/co-hosts Pamela Ho and Stanley Leong. (The show can be heard today at 11 edt at www.mediacorp.com.sg, and there may be a copy archived as well.) We covered Eden, dementia, Green Houses, all in two 13-minute segments. Then Jenny and I ran back to the hawker stands to slurp prawn noodle soup before the afternoon Eden session.
Big thanks to Mary Ann Tsao for her sponsorship, and to Mala, Kim Choo, Wai Chong and all who helped me put this together. I’m off to Hong Kong in the morning.
Here’s our class and a few other photos from today:
