I think the real harm is in the culture’s obsession with cosmetic trappings of youthfulness. I do not think there is any harm in researching ways to actually extend healthy lifespan. “Aging” is a confusing term because it also means “getting older” in a chronological sense. That is something I celebrate — including the experience and wisdom that comes with it. I just do not like the idea of enfeeblement and death as a result.
