Starting tonight, I will be in San Diego this week attending the TEDMed 2010 conference. For those not familiar, TED (Technology, Entertainment and Ideas) puts together “riveting talks by remarkable people” presenting “ideas worth sharing.” TEDMed is the healthcare focused version of TED. You can kill hours and hours of free time watching TED presentations. Definitely check out some of their most popular speakers.
The first evening of speakers is heavily focused on the WOW factor of technology and science in healthcare. I’m not so sure more High Tech solutions is what we need for Real Care. I will be livetweeting TEDMed presentations and writing up a few blog post reactions. You can follow my Twitter feed in the sidebar widget, or sign up on Twitter at Twitter.com/drbillthomas.
Stay tuned for more updates!
You go, Dr. Bill!
