I am a long time happy customer of a small local bank where I know everyone personally. (Hi Audra!)
The big banks have become the economic equivalent of velociraptors.
They are bigger than you, stronger than you, richer than you and, most importantly, they don’t need you.
The embedded video below was made by a real estate agent who is mad as hell and, apparently, she’s not going to take it any more.
She is warning buyers that Bank of America will continue to claim ownership after they have closed a short sale with a buyer.
When regular people act the way this bank is acting, the police refer to it with terms like “breaking and entering” and “grand larceny.”
When Bank of America does it, the crime is downgraded to a “paperwork snafu!”
My advice to customers of the big banks is to move your money and business to a smaller local bank.
BTW, there is no fury like that of a can-do real estate agent whose client has been cheated.
The video is not to be missed.
This is also, a nice use of social media, IMHO.
