You have no idea how long I have been waiting to write this post. My new novel, “The Tribes of Eden” is going on sale (officially) on April 2, 2012 and Jude and I have some exciting news to share with everyone about how this book is going to help Eden grow in the years to come.
I have spent the past four years dreaming and planning, writing and re-writing this story. It is, in my opinion, the most important thing I have ever had to say about the Eden Alternative and the world of which Eden is a part. This book has been a labor of love.
Now it is ready to go out into the world and find its readers.
Jude and I have decided that ALL PROCEEDS from the sale of the book will be donated to Eden to support the mission we all share.
We feel good about this because, when you get down to it, this is your book. This book belongs to the movement we are all building. The book is a celebration of YOU.
YOU are the Tribes of Eden, you inspired me to tell this story and YOU are going to love its message.
It is our most sincere hope that you will join with us as we work to bring the message of this book to the world outside of aging. YOU are the bridge to that world and it is clear to us that this book can reach its full potential only if we work together.
Our movement is much larger than we often realize and when we take in all of the real Tribes of Eden (that would be YOU) and then extend that circle to include all of the people YOU know and care about we find that we just might have the power to launch Eden ideas into the larger national conversation that is always going on around us.
This book was designed to inspire reflection and, most of all, hope in its readers. This is, as you know, key to the Eden philosophy. People always find it easier to face up to how much we still have to accomplish when they can feel a sense of optimism about how the world COULD be.
The book, “Tribes of Eden” shows us how the world COULD be.
I dream of a future where the REAL Tribes of Eden (that would be you) work together with Jude and I to bring the “Tribes of Eden” book to everyone who needs to hear and be inspired by its message.
So now I must ask a question that is posed by the Elders in the book… “Who shall ride?”
