I have great news for the culture change community — ChangingAging will be broadcasting two days of the Pioneer Network’s 13th Annual Conference via livestream video August 13-14 from Bellevue, Wash., thanks to underwriting by Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
The livestream feed will be available free to the public at www.PioneerNetwork.net. The Pioneer Network Annual Conference is the premier event of the year showcasing the latest developments in the long-term care culture change movement. More important, the Pioneer Network and this annual event are the glue that holds this diverse movement of like-minded advocates and organizations together and propels it forward.
Anyone involved in this effort knows that creating and sustaining momentum for culture transformation is an enormous undertaking. Conferences like the Pioneer Network’s are critical to propelling the culture change movement forward and we’re excited to extend the reach of the conference to a broader audience via livestream video.
We’re also excited to build engagement by inviting the livestream audience to participate in Q&A via live-chat. We will be posting the schedule of livestream coverage on the blog and via our email newsletter (sign-up on the right sidebar) and Pioneer Network’s email newsletter. For the tech-savvy, you can also join Ustream.com and sign-up for reminder alerts on the Pioneer Network’s conference channel. I highly encourage our fans to sign-in using Facebook and share the broadcast with your friends via Facebook and Twitter.
I’ve asked followers who have attended past Pioneer Network conferences to share their experiences and tell us how the experience helped them on their culture change journey. I’ll be sharing those stories on the blog over the next week and I encourage readers to chime in. Are you attending this year’s conference? If not, join us for the livestream!
