I’ve enjoyed Dove’s “Real Beauty” marketing campaign over the past couple years with its in-your-face, no excuses 50-plus advertisements featuring actual (gasp) 50-plus women. Of course, just because they call their products “pro-aging” doesn’t make them any different from other “anti-aging” cosmetics marketed to make you look younger. But the pro-aging images are significant.
Now Dove is launching a marketing campaign aimed at building the self-esteem of women who may feel they can never measure up to the models they see in magazines. Here’s a video demonstrating why:
