President Obama started his big push for health care reform today by holding a summit at the White House with key allies, a few of his critics and other figures in health care. I firmly believe we need to create a health care system that lets everyone in and keeps nobody out. I shared my views at a community gathering in Cazenovia recently:
I also spent some time with Sheila Kast from WYPR’s Maryland Morning discussing ways to provide universal coverage for all Americans. Medicare is one example of a successful approach to doing just that.
