So for those of you who do not watch comedy central and couldn’t give a hoot about wisenheimers Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, you probably haven’t heard they’re having a rally: The Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Fear.
The event is set for October 30th on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Stewart promotes his rally as something for the 95% of americans not foaming at the mouth with political rage.

Colbert, who avoids reason like the plague, offered his alternative to Stewert-esque reason:

There is speculation that these rallies are a satirical jab a Glenn Beck’s Rally To Restore Honor. Knowing the bozo twins, there will definitely be some form of tongue-in-cheek humor. however, Stewart, while talking to Larry King, categorically denied that his rally is a political one.
For all Stewart, Colbert and others have talked about the rally, I still have been unable to find a clear interpretation of what this rally will mean. So this weekend I will be attending the rally and will provide you with my view from the ground.
