I am a 65-year-old woman who cares for people with memory loss. I don’t believe that we can allow 113 people to speak for a whole generation. The elderly have much to teach us from life experience. I think also, if we are to not directly connected to the elderly that we tend to look at them as from some of the world. They have served their time, they have built the luxuries that we enjoy. The elderly have built the very foundation of our lives with their blood, sweat, tears, and money. Do they always anything? No, but they continue to give to us anyway. Everyone in our society has something to contribute if it is no more than teaching us the values, and moral standards, which are the American way. Thanks for reading.
