Jazz is a favorite genre' of mine, so was intrigued with this musician whose music is new to me. His trio plays an interesting combination of instruments, and he clearly has an impressive background. His integration of objects and creature sounds other than traditional instruments seems to elaborate on some music, not always necessarily jazz, that many of us enjoyed in the fifties. Jazz is all about improvisation even within a framework.
